Now that #Pride2023 has ended, the Appalachian Learning Initiative is proud to release our #Summer2023 Recommended #ReadingList.
This season's list includes a recent release by Tucker Leighty-Phillips, a writer from Southeastern Kentucky. Maybe This Is What I Deserve is the winner of the 2022 Fiction Chapbook Contest and is an excellent read from start to finish.
Also included is the classic work by William Denby, Beetlecreek, as well as more recent works that highlight the rich diversity that exists within our region.
